A rare antique silver armlet (vanki) from from Maharashtra in India . It was made using twisted and wrapped wire over heavy gauge braided silver wire. The front of the bracelet is a wire formed cone and the bracelet itself is v shaped. This may look odd, but despite it's rigidity, it is actually quite comfortable since you can slide it to a point on your arm that feels comfortable. This unique bracelet is made of a high grade silver alloy, probably from melted coins and is quite substantial.

Weight is 195 grams, The inner circumference is difficult to measure but it is approximately 18 cm or 7". The inner diameter is 6 cm or 2 1/4". The depth is just above 5 cm or 2".
